Texas on a musical level kicks so much butt-they kick ass!(Townes, Willie, The Dicks, Scratch Acid, ZZ Top, Lightnin' Hopkins, etc.)......otherwise the state seems pretty fucking lame.

@knfspork No, they don't, I'm sorry. I've been to local Texas concerts. Every time they try to play a "rock song" it turns into a twangy country song. And the bands who are hardcore about the punk scene usually live in obscure communities, and have to move to somewhere like California to get any reception. This place is basically a punk dead zone.
