I fought in fallujah 3/1 lima when i was 17 years old and yes i was well awear that i was just a BOY but i knew i was there to do a MANS job so i wouldnt have took it to offense if someone called me a boy

Maybe that reporter was wrong to call them "boys". But he meant no disrespect by it-quite the opposite. He was probably awed that such.... lets call them "young men" have done things that MEN twice their age can only dream about, and wonder about.
He's wrong to call them "boys". Anyone who has stepped up, gone through basic and done a tour of duty in Iraq is no longer a child by anymeans. They more than anyone have earned the right to be called men, certainly more so than some reporter.

You dont know the first thing about the mindset of someone in the armed forces, and I garuntee you couldnt even imagine what each of them has to go through to get there so maybe your the one who needs to shut your fucking mouth. (I assume thats what you tried and failed to type)
