People can't live something unless they understand it first, this is why God gave us the gift of Grace, to carry us through the sin and come to the knowledge of God.
Like the parable of the seed that was sown on good soil, the person understood and rejoiced and bear Fruit. Read Psalms 119 verse 104 : "Through his precepts I gain understanding therefore I hate every false way." Now is the day of salvation, 5 stars plus eternity brother!

It is not the guilt of sin, but from sin itself. Freedom from the guilt of sin is the liscence to sin. There you can sin all you wanted to, without guilt. Guilt is the one lead to repentance. It is designed by God. God bless you.

@truegospelofchrist Point taken. But guilt leads one to repentance and salvation. At salvation both sin AND the weight or burden of that guilt is lifted. That is the point.
