Jackie's Takes A Stroll

Injured kitten who captured many hearts. Jackie was rescued from the NYC ACC Brooklyn shelter. She is a 2 month old stray and weighed 1.9 lbs when admitted, underweight for a kitten her age. Jackie was in pretty bad shape. She has a dead tail, injured nose and a dead, crumpled ear pinna. We're not sure how she was injured, but she is getting the best of care and when she's strong enough will have her tail amputated. @Kimw1967 The vet thinks she has some kind of blood infection that destroyed some of her tissue. Her nose, tail and ears are affected and will probably slough off as she heals. Jackie is an adorable, loving kitten with a growing number of fans on facebook,... even if she looks a little funny!

Poor kitten, she looks exactly like my cat. God bless her and hope she has a speedy recovery.
