Need help with RC 540 can u guys help me find parts to upgrade?

Hey everyone i need help i dont know how to make it faster or what to purchse to make it go faster if u guys could make suggestions and links to the parts that would be great. The battery is NI-CD AA700MAH 12v and it doesnt really hold a charge and want help finding a better one that will hold a charge and give me some more power! :p and help finding other parts that will make it go fast fast as in going straight down a street i am not racing im just having fun want to beable to drift and pull donuts if any of u want to sell a good car leave a message gas or electric.

if u have an old ice cream maker for at home the the motor in those make them haul ass

get a etronix 19T motor

a receiver

a speed controller

a LiPo

if you want, you could buy new motors. Those of an RC plane are enough good to make it goes faster. Or, just change the batterie to a higher one. I don't think that it would brake the circuit of it is 3 volts higher.

Just get a new car, for how much it would cost to upgrade that thiing it is NOT worth it! traxxas is good for beginers i would sugest you get on of theres cheak it out at Great Hobbies.com
