  • @erickr613 its not only about the transducer retard, you forgot that the better the processor making it a better unit

  • @gladheateher4now You know the transducer is made by the same company right. Tout your Furuno all you want but my Garmin has been marking and catching fish for 10 years at a quarter of the price :) Not to mention my Furuno radar has been falling apart since it was installed and their customer service is rude, arrogant, and unhelpful. When I call Garmin they solve my problem, they're friendly, and knowledgeable.

  • The only people who complain about these Garmin fish finders are the ones retarded enough to believe propaganda. Let me drop some knowledge on you, FURUNO, RAY MARINE, GARMIN, LOWRANCE, AND MANY MANY other fishfinder's transducers ARE ALL MADE BY AIRMAR. Airmar is the largest manufacturer of transducers and produce them for ALMOST every major company producing finders. The $ 200Garmin uses the same transducer technology as your $500 Lowrance how do you feel?

  • @Quicksilvers888 The placement of the transducer is typically on the Transom, you are correct. However the transducer that comes with the model can be mounted on the transom or as an in hull transducer. This finder also has the option to be purchased without a transducer so the user can pickt he best ducer for their needs. He could be using a thru-hull or in-hull transducer which would be mounted at the center line of the boat. in wide beam or 200KHZ he would mark fish next to the boat.

  • what a joke.

  • @erickr613 The meter range of the fish is about 4-5 meters deep. Also, the depth sensor is typically located at the stern and you caught the fist at the bow. Your fishing line is about 4 feet long and your meter depth is about 13 feet to 16 feet long. Just wondering but good job to catch 3 fish at a time. Nice work.

  • @Quicksilvers888 Actually the finder shows the depth of the water at 8.3m The fish display at about the 2M mark if you look at the scale on the right side OWNED

  • Yeah that garmin rules unloading my Si humminbird side ducer for this how much?
