I love that they're playing on a big time TV show and they can still make this performance so intimate, like they're playing and singing for one person specifically.

I'll always maintain that this song has some of the most beautiful piano work I've ever heard in my life. It was this song that really made me think, "Keep an eye on these guys, you're gonna like what you hear." Glad to say all this time later that holds true. Lovely performance.

@musicalman1995 Not the worst, but very unfair because Parachutes in its whole is fucking brilliant. Shiver is one of the best Coldplay live songs, I wish I could see them playing that one nowadays.

@SuperiFox I do agree with you from a personal point of view, but they've just been keeping up with the times! being able to reinvent themselves is one of the reasons they've managed to reach such iconic status! Plus at the time parachutes was brand new and so were coldplay, plus it was a decade ago so there's a lot of nostalgia involved!
