  • carlos condit is faster

  • @Manuelcr7 Ah yes. Well that makes sense.

When you said "knee drive" though, all I could think of was this stupid Football coach showing his players how to run on a conditioning for speed DVD I have. He taught them, literally to lift their knees to their chests and drive them as hard as they could into the ground. Because, you know, it generates power.

Poor kids actually get exposed to this rubbish.

  • @codeyantiassembly I understand the pose method but he is so tall 6'5. So he has more ground contact time during the same speed. So he can produce more power because he has more time. The taller the athlet the faster he is.

  • @codeyantiassembly i think he meant knee 'lift'. high knee's is a good thing, if the knees are too low you'll limit your stride length and force output.

  • @Manuelcr7 Rubbish. You need to watch the video again.

And anyway, I thought American Football was the only institution backwards enough to still believe "knee driving" is a good thing. Usain falls. Proof of that can been seen in that his feet land more parallel to his head and hips than his competitors do.

  • this video shows so much

  • @roxtar55 you must know nothing about lifting, the shorter you are the easier it is to squat, the center of gravity is different, and of coarse they have to go down 7 less inches.

  • I hate wondering what his time would've been if he didn't celebrate

  • That's brilliant.........
