When you can see the movement in the back, we usually say it has an "exhibition style" case back. The "Blancpain" part you are referring to is called the rotor. The rotor is a weight that moves back and forth with each slight movement of your wrist... it's attached to a winding mechanism. Each time it moves, it winds the watch.

Love when the watches have that open back look. What do you call that? and what do you call the "blancpain" piece moving on the back? Sorry don't know the terms lol just like looking at them.
