  • Beautiful man....the skaters these days are too focused on trying to hit the triple axle lutz (or whatever) and the rest of their program is boring. RC was an amazing skater in all aspects.

  • 11 years later after his olmpic victory Robin lost nothing from his technical and artistic baggage: the same fantastic jumps and rotations, the same beauty of lines and lyricism. Bravo!

  • Skaters take note: Study Robin's arms in every one of his performances. No flailing around (as Dick Button would say) - no movement without musical meaning/ interpretation. Divine!

If anyone has Robin's performance of "Unchain my Heart" PLEASE post it!!!

  • Thank you for posting this! I've been a fan of Robin's for over 20 years and never get tired of seeing this beautiful program. He had something no other skater did...something about the lines, the grace, the lyricism, the sheer beauty of his movements and choreography. To this day I've never seen a skater who can match him in this way.

  • perfekt!

  • @bardtoob

Absolutely! He makes it look so easy, yet so beautifully controlled. I have always ranked him amongst the very best in the world, never mind the UK, and the most atttractive to watch.

  • Absolutely! I wish more skaters used the slide spiral. On a tall skater, it's so exquisite and really shows off their body line. Skaters years ago just seemed to have more of a sense of how every move appeared to those who were watching them.

  • Truly amazing

  • That man had the most incredible edges!
