Beautiful japanese girls.

Half way through the film a group of Chinese men are seen speaking to Blofeld, the villain of the film. They represent the 'government' behind the financing of Blofeld's volcano and equipment. But rather than trying to make sense of the film, why not just enjoy it for what it is - pure entertainment.

Blofied is as much the inspiration for Dr. Evil as Bond is the inspiration for Austin Powers.

0:43 & 2:21 'Thunderball' soundtrack.

Sorry, both those themes are from the You Only Live Twice soundtrack. The first is called Welcome to Japan, where Bond surfaces from the British submarine and onto the shores of Japan. The second is the Drop in the Ocean theme where Tiger's helicopter lifts the Spectre car by electro magnet and drops them in the sea of Japan.

Thanks for posting. Where do you find these trailers? They're not on the James Bond dvds that I have...and I wish that they were included in the special features. Is there a "secret agent trailers" dvd collection the way there are for horror, sci fi, and rock n' roll/teen exploitation movies?

The SPECIAL EDITION DVDs from 1999 have the previews.

There is one scene where Bond visits Osato Chemical Engineering as Mr. Fisher, and he is told by an employee that he's three and a half minutes early for his appointment to visit Mr. Osato. Bond waits in Osato's office, and a remote controlled CCTV is monitoring Bond's movements (monitored by the man who showed Bond in to Osato's office.) Can someone who was an adult in 1967 please tell me if CCTVs did really exist back then, or if it was a futuristic thing included for this movie specifically?

CCTV had been around since the early 1960s. Although only the rich seemed to be able to afford it.
