With that said, it's the fault of the developers if they choose to show something that does not represent the game. If you call us cynical and stupid for judging the game in a certain way, then you must also call the ones getting hyped naive and stupid. And if no one is able to form an opinion without being stupid, then what's the point with releasing this clip at all?

why are gamers so cynical and stupid that they take games into a deep conceited consideration before even seeing gameplay? If you want a game, you decide upon gameplay, experience, recommendations, or reviews (experience and recommendations are by far the most intelligent venues).

I'm not knocking on the developer's decision to take time on the game. It just seems a bit crass to me to put that statement so bluntly in their trailers. Then again, I've been more accustomed to seeing that information in a press release or something rather than their first teaser trailer.

The main thing this trailer reminds me of is the Syndicate game from last year but more 90s aesthetic (e.g. eye-covering helmets with a billion lights and lenses).

Your entire argument was weak, you gave no valid points. You raised an interesting topic, though. You never gave any real insight as to how Dethmold actually "changes" after he is revealed to be homosexual. All you did was claim he changed in ways, never provided evidence. I still don't even see why you complained about the sex slave. That just shows how sick he is, that he would take advantage of and abuse another human being like that and not even care.
