I enjoyed listening to your experience of Vipassana - I have been to 3 courses several years ago in Australia, and believe the benefits to be life changeing. Hardest thing I have done and most rewarding. Have begun daily meditation of two hours recently and am already feeling the benefit in my relationships with those around me and at work etc. You were correct in stating that each individual's experince is different. Go well, be at peace, be liberated and BE HAPPY. With Love to all.

I am from india, Ma grand dad ( who is is yoga instructor) forced me to go Vipassana came in India (The places name is : Dharamshala). At first i didn't like it and wanted to run away asap..
But soo, i found a change in myself....a lot of changes...
I would say, i have a buzy life...but still due to those few days, i can find peace within me from time to time and have started listening to preaching of ma grand dad a little more seriously :P
it's a must for any one, atleast ones in lifetime.

@vtst67 I went to a centre in Lampoon, about an hour from Chiang Mai. Highly recommended and Thailand is a predominantly Buddhist country, so I guess there is more support for these kind of facilities. Good luck with your choice :)
