@fearfac3 Of course, because I don't like this repetitive and boring style of composition I must be a heartless robot! Except I love many movie composers, particularly the work of Thomas Newman, Michael Andrews and Yann Tiersen. Zimmer, to me, is like the pop of soundtracks - he churns out popular but uninteresting, purely functional music. It works adequately in whatever film its played, but I find it all unmemorable, uninspired. Dot-to-dot compositions.

Wow, when Lion King came up, I just had the massivest shudders.

The musics of Hans Zimmer are not like: "This movie has a great music, huh?", his musics are like: "This FUCKING AWESOME MUSIC has a good movie."

Most musicians only do music - not always good- and sometimes videoclips,
Hans Zimmer does awesome music and as if it wasn't enough, he's like "hey, have a good movie with my music"
