unless u work for a hospital 911 unit ...youll get more money....they get paid better than fdny...and its in the same 911 system

Its def a fun job, and everyday is always a dif. situation for sure...I believe now you must be civil service status , and obviously have a valid nys emt certification card in order to be hired...now go 89!

Its a amputation.....priority 3 just mean the level of job it is ...nyc ems has prority 1 thru 7...........1 is cardiac arrests....2 is asthma and diff breathers...3 is stabs /gunshots/amputations....ect. ect...im not goin to go through all of them
