@kraftytoo I'm not really sure, I saw it on one of the "Avatar Extras" episodes. I'm sure you could find out if you looked at the ATLA wiki.

@Inopportunist waah! I did not know that, I truly wish it would have happened! Do you know about when they switched it? i.e, was it before airing any episodes, or in the middle of a season, or what not?

@kraftytoo Did you know that the creators actually intended for Zutara to happen in the beginning of the series but then changed their minds?

I <3 canon, but the problem is.... Zuko is the cutest, most badass, conflicted-yet-so-good super gorgeous guy in avatar, so we want him to be with the girl we all know and love Katara. In my opinion, 2 vital were missed for kataang: 1) aang should have been given a bad-side, a more grown up change, or frankly, some better looks (not a fan of the whole monk shave). and 2) Mai should have been more developed so that we see her as a complex awesome girl deserving of zuko. Until then, ZUTARA 4 EVAS!
