If you have been sued and have a judgment against you, your bank account, wages and real estate are at risk. Many people believe that once issued, nothing can be done to get rid of a judgment except paying it. Not True! By filing bankruptcy, most judgments are eliminated. We can remove them from real estate in some cases, and once we file a bankruptcy, lawsuits must be dismissed, and no judgment can be taken against a debtor in bankruptcy, or after bankruptcy, for a debt included in the bankruptcy. We represent consumers in Cincinnati and Dayton, and our consumer bankruptcy attorneys can explain what your options are if you have any judgments against you. Our Cincinnati Dayton Bankruptcy Attorneys can help.
I had no idea Bankruptcy could do all this. I knew it would essentially wash my debts away but i didnt know it would resolve judgments and lawsuits as well.
