The Holy Month of Muharram is the start of the new Islamic year. During the first 10 days of the year, Muslims around the world commemorate the Tragedy of Ashuraa in which the grandson of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, Imam Hussain, was killed alongside 72 of his companions in present day Karbalaa, Iraq by the forces of the tyrant Yazeed.

most people here have "thier own" masjid afghani/irani/soamali/etc.. each culture usually open one and run and speak it in that particular culture. its common sense
