@AeriaGl0ris Maybe they're all fans of Japanese films wherein the little kids all wearing "tiny upsetting shorts"!

I think the normally-crisp Charles B. Pierce writing style has fallen apart here.

1:54 she didnt about the wench that then either! You know there are flaws in movies that go over looked and decrease the quality of a film becuse of the intence process of makeing a movie, and then theres this. how dose anybody convince themselves they have the abllity to make movies let alone write anything at all. They creators of these B movies are totally vexing

My generation has shamed me.
She didn't mention the wench before, because the other girl didn't ASK? What sort of rationale is that? I swear, the people who wrote this nonsense had to make this up with the intention of making it nonsense...

There was nothing even remotely misogynistic about that scene. It certainly was too long and poorly acted, but it did establish that one (not both) of the women is anxious and easily frightened, which is more or less requisite for monster/horror flicks. Perhaps everyone thought it was "misogyny" when the other female was portrayed as calm and even resourceful?
