I wanted to come to US for PG studies and when i saw these crazy laws and people making money from private prisons using human freedom as a commodity i got fucking scared, i dont know what to say more this is really sad.

@OTKP You are right we shouldn't lock people up for minor things like weed possession, but why give weed possessors probation or house arrest?
Here's a better idea: let's not give them any penalty because they have done nothing wrong! Possessing a non-toxic weed harms no one, and CAN'T be considered a crime.
And yes you are right that hardcore criminals should have first priority.
