Because people have been asking for one, here is a tutorial, to make a rasengan on 3D Studio Max

This Isn't a Rasenshuriken, is a simple rasengan. And it doesn't explain everything you have to know for this.

To follow this tutorial, you got to have at least a notion on 3DS Max, Especially on particle Systems. If you don't, you can use the program's Helpfiles for the basic, and look for a tutorial on the internet wich have a detailed explanation about particle systems, there is a lot of them.

And if you don't fully understand this tutorial, or have any doubt about the overall config, here is the 3DS Max Scene file for download:

Hope it was helpful.

  • how to save finished made video? After saving, what is the format of the video?

  • @narako2000 Better you save as an image sequence in jpg, and put together later with a comon video editor. This is because you can fix some single-frame-problems on photoshop.

  • can I use this program in a 32 bit-system computer?

  • @kostmessigr Yes, it has a 32-bit version

  • Brilliant tutorial, very useful. Thank you :D

  • Where can I find a video mixer software? I've found one that is called vmix 2012 but I can't mix video and video together at the same time. So can you suggest or tell me the program you used to mix your rasengan with your "hand video"?

  • but if megaupload is gone ... because of the FBI =(... please upload the program on another page

  • @ZeElias18 Just like you said, the video will appear in my rendered result. But if I just press render (shift + Q), a pop-out tell me to select a valid object. Then I select my rasengan and render it. But my video isn't in the result. Or did you mean my video will appear when I save my project in image sequence?

  • @narako2000 on the top left corner of the viewport config, should have 3 links: a "+" the actual viewport type (such as Camera or perspective), and the viewport display config, for example "Smooth + Highlights + Edged Faces". Click the viewport display config, it will open a drop down menu, choose "Viewport background" an then "Show Background". Maybe you will have to set the background clicking on "Viewport background".

  • @ZeElias18 I cannot find show background. In which tab? I know it is in viewpoint config. but I can't find show background.

  • I Don't See Shit!
