people should seriously stop bashing dane cook, like just because hes famous you dont have to be jealous. tebow stole the dane cooking and they have the nerve to say cook steals jokes? so what if hes not "intellectual" whatever that word means. So what? just because i get the same value out of his stuff that a 13 year old does that doesn't mean i dont have good comedy taste. i agree with @nelsonclick , everyone who disses him just can't do what he does!

Dane bashing. I think he's OK and enjoyable. I think Andy and others just resent Dane's ambition more than his comedy. I would have never given Dane's success any meaning if it wasn't for other comedians "dissing" him. I like Andy's comedy a lot but he is a complete and total dick in real life. Kathy Griffin also bashes Dane too. All this adds up to me thinking that Dane might be better than I initially thought if he's not liked by people who I don't like.

@kayvenn I don't know when it became cool to hate Dane Cook. My favorite comedian's Louis C.K., but I think Dane's funny, too. I'm also a big fan of Proust, Nietzsche, and Gerard de Nerval. So, no, not your stereotypical Dane Cook fan. And not dumb. But whatever floats your ego.
