Merriam-Webster dictionary lists baloney as a variant of balogna. & I will spell it balogna when I start saying ba-LOG-na.

First of all, learn to start sentences with capital letters.

And when will you learn that you don't connect sentences with a comma. That is called "comma splice" in English class. Also you left out a comma before "but." Then you used a singular verb, "holds," for a plural compound subject.

But such comments, IMHO, are uncooth. We are not writing English essays here. What kind of spelling is "relivence" and "aswell"?

When were YOU segregated & persecuted for pigment? Are you one of those who claims special privileges for ur pigment? Segregation was a great evil. It was supposed to be replaced by Integration; but oh no; no sooner than segregation was got rid of, but it was reinstituted under the name of multi-culturalism & it was really back to segregation: We vs you on basis of pigment. Shud we belly-ache about how the Normans persecuted us Saxons going back to 1066? Stop ur racism.

What do u mean, attribute a musical style to "THE AFRICAN AMERICAN"? U don't realize how racist you are. Now if Joplin were left-handed, wud u attribute the rag to left-handed persons? Or suppose he cud not role his tongue -- wud u attribute the rag to non-tongue-rollers? "our music" racist.

Do u want white persons to go back to racism to match your continued racism? Do u want to see White Police associations, White Caucus, White Fire-fighters association, National Assn for the Advance of WP?

@Thunkful2 Also the need to attribute the founding of musical styles to the African American when it is indeed their own creation is very important given the fact that much of our music has been stolen in the past and attributed to whites. It's tickles me how much "race" is no longer relevent to some modern whites, or what ever you are, but all throught history it was so important that we were segregated oppressed and persecuted on the basis of the very fact of our pigmented skin.

@Thunkful2 first of all learn to spell Balogna correctly. It is completely relevant, seeing that my gene line links more to Joplin and all past African Americans more closely then any other ethnicity, we are all humans obviously but creed, culture, and ethnicity holds heavy relivence aswell.

When will you get over racial bigotry and realize that pigment is irrelevant. We are human beings. Your comment is illogical. You may as well say X person had blue eyes, X music comes from blue eyed person. I have blue eyes. I don't care a flip how much pigment you have. And your pigment doesn't make you connected to Joplin. How about blood type? Are you both type O? If my blood type = Joplins, who is more related? It is all racist baloney. Stop thinking in pigment & race.
