The massacre of the Amazon rainforest is about creating farmland. They aren't harvesting all those trees for paper. If the paper demand was zero it would have no affect on the carnage going on there. In fact, most of that forest area is cleared by burning.

Plus paper can be made from cannabis plants way faster than making it from trees. Paper, cloths, and rope is the only thing I would use cannabis for though.

Does it have to be printed onto an opaque material? Could it perhaps be printed onto greenhouse poly or panels to power fans and pumps inside the greenhouse?

or you could polymer them to the back of lexan and screw it to the roof. it would have a nice quarter inche profile too! not bulky like panels.

The disadvantage of these cells is that paper isn't exactly the most durable material. They wouldn't work very well on a rooftop. But you could use them as wallpaper in a room with sizable windows, for example.

Paper usage is sustainable anyway; production forests are replanted and give us plenty of material for paper. The main culprit of deforestation is clearing land for agriculture. Now, reducing paper usage means reducing the amount of production forests needed, but in the grand scheme of things paper is lower on the list of priorities.

An increased paper demand only adds to the problem.
