    AM was still considerably dominant at that time so I considered FM to be "new". Many cars (most?) only had AM radios up to that point.

    Wow, I haven't heard this song in almost 40 years! I was almost 12 when this was released on the B-Side (as already mentioned) of the 45 rpm single of "Crocodile Rock". I don't remember "Elderberry Wine" getting any airplay back then--not many B-Sides did. FM radio was still new and stereo was nothing close to what you listen to today. 8-track and cassette hadn't yet come out, either. I think this record cost me about 50 cents back in 1972.

    yes it was, i just read that in the remastered album cover that this was the bside. do u know if this was on the radio too or has it been over time? could of sworn i heard it sometimes not sure
