  • tres fort dally kimoko

  • those congolese ladies look like mormon missionaries compared to the nigerian lasses you see in some of the hi-life vids...

  • Dally Kimoko, the best guitarist africa has ever had!

    Jacob Malowah, Kenya

  • @7116219 your as wrong as early European missionaries who spread christianity in Africa with the use of a gun and forcing Africans to change their names telling Africans that African names were evil .

  • @7116219 Soukous is music, how is it simply drama, there are simply Good Soukous and Bad Soukous. It's very entertaining, the guitars are at full effect, to the drums, percussion, etc. I do know is it started in Paris when Kanda came in 1979 with Diblo, which stirred their first album together called Iyole after that it started building. Also it's a great way to get Westerns in Congolese Music because normally they wouldn't listen to this or Congolese Music in general.

  • I am sorry for those who think Soukous music is music. It is not. Its simply drama without substance except obscene dancing that is attractive to obscene minds! It is the worst brand of music and style Congolese have come up with but it is because when it first came out, the fellows demonstrated it on the inner cities of France and just because people would stop to watch someone thought it was something. It is gabbage and has no place in the artful history of Zaire.

  • Sam Mangwana, Lokassa Ya Mbongo, Obey Kapi, Dally Kimoko, in Paris!!!!!!!!!!! whooo!!! what a assemble of dynamic talented African Musicians!!!! check it out..."Moi je plante coco eeye,,Moi je plante L'amour pour les musicians D'Afrique. AHHHH Ca C'est Bon Ca!!!!!!!!!

  • By all accounts Dally Kimoko is a legend. It may be noteworthy that Nene polished his exceptional skill through Dally Kimoko. Yes Dally's solo is sentimental and indeed no one before or even after has ever come close to his perfection and style.

  • Big Nooooo!!! It's Nene Tchaku tchaku who played Kanda's Love Mutchana.

  • Diblo Dibala is the best
