Ogden police will monitor crime from the sky with unmanned blimps

Our Mormon friends, and all citizens of Utah, need to be a bit less deferential to "authorities" in their local communities! Not known as a bastion of high crime, suburban Salt Lake City is spending millions of dollars on technologies of mass surveillance. About a year ago, I posted a piece in which the police in Sandy, Utah payed $400,000 to spy on a local skateboard park - to catch petty criminals, like youth drinking alcohol or smoking marijuana (http://bit.ly/9qip8y)!

In a time when local and state governments sit on the brink of bankruptcy, you can literally search your local news and find many a boondoggle in which local law enforcement is spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on high-tech inventories of non-lethal weapons, armored vehicles, surveillance systems, and even brand new arsenals of fully automatic firearms! It is as if the government is preparing for war!? It is well documented that, along with municipal bankruptcies, public pensions have been stolen and spent, and corrupt banking institutions have received bailouts in amounts that individuals cannot even comprehend. Well paying jobs are gone, the government is broke, debt is off the charts, quantitative easing threatens to propel horrific inflation, and the state is armed to the teeth. It looks as if the enemy could be... you!

  • Godfrey is a cunt.

  • I hope for a repeat of the Hindenburg. Hopefully, the green police required them to fuel up with hydrogen before flight.

  • Why would the government want to spy in Sal Tla Ka Siti in Uta?

  • WOW, I find it funny now.

So funny, because you sheeple, have been asleep for so long, watching reality TV, Simpsons, and as many shows as you can watch while the warnings have been slapping you right in the face. People have been screaming for nearly 20 years about this, And you mock them!! THEORISTS! and it is finally coming to a head. And you lazy punks just wake up and say.. PIGS! Where were you 2 years ago, 5 years ago, when we had a chance?

Oh I know playing Nintendo and watching TV. doh!

  • Someone should take it down with a slingshot.

  • This blimp is nothing compared to Godfrey's rap sheet of fascism.

  • Godfrey!!! (and growing up, that was a bad thing).

This guy needs to be put out to pasture. He obviously hasn't read D&C 121 lately. Talk about unrighteous dominion.

  • Godfey is a little freak,an android from the Bush Crime Family then some!!!!
