@lagoskid Like I said, I maintain my own cars. Have my 9th BMW now. Really like the 740i models. The early to mid 90s, Mercedes and BMW cranked out some high quality vehicles. Afterwards 1996+ to maybe mid 2000s the materials had less quality and build standards to cut cost to compete with imports from Japan. If you look around for parts online, like I do, there are many deals out there. And not cheap "made in China" parts either. I've had a few BMW with well over 200k miles. ☺☺☺☺

@viggoM35 Are you shitting me? It IS expensive to maintain. I use to have a 335i and the parts online were expensive! I'll keep my G37S, thank YOU very much.
Nice car btw, bobdp928s. (I've got to make this comment relevant to the video itself.)

turtle wax black box boss still takes hours but looks rad! nice ass car!

@tingokuman No problem. I have had 8 BMWs and 3 Mercedes (80-90s models). Great cars with no major issues. I maintain myself. Owned American, Japanese, Korean, Italian, and British cars, prefer German to anything else for engineering. Some people think they are expensive to maintain, only if you pay someone else to work on them. Grab a wrench and shop online for parts. Since a few of my BMWs had close to 300k miles and still running strong. I can't claim that for most other car manufacturers.

@viggoM35 so lost kid most bmws have V8s for the american market there designed in california and built in various parts of the south 1 series are made in mexico.that gto is faster than just about anything bmw makes.and the traction control has 2 settings on and off who the hell needs 7. IDrive is a joke i damn near killed myself trying to find gas station with it as it kept paring my phone on its own.to each is own if you like driving a laptop cool.but ill drive a mans car.

@bobdp928s Lol @ vw rabbit

Clay barred my white diamond 2005 AWD V8 Cadillac STS. Completely covered in rail dust and don't think it was ever waxed 6 hour later and it's like a new car stunning difference and went through almost a whole bottle of showtime (spray wax) as a lube, love it, nice job.

Advantage #1 of being single,
Not having to tote around little yip yip terriers in the passenger seat. =D
Nice car anyway
@viggoM35...I have owned a number of German cars over the years. They were overpriced junk. I've had 928's, an S4 and a GTS, both electrical failures. Great to drive when they worked properly. 2001 M3....Junk...engine flew apart. No such problems with this Australian made Corvette powered automobil.e. In fact....no problems what-so-ever....and it's easily faster than all 3 of them. Now, once you graduate from your 1978 vw rabbit, come talk to me about cars.

@chrospoke 2 layers of wax, came out great.

@chrospoke just make sure the car is as clean as possible, use plenty of spray wax ahead of the clay bar, and DO NOT let the clay bar touch anything BUT THE CAR. I'd use rubber gloves to keep your bodies oils out of the clay.
