[67] Jumbo Flexi Rods Try

Please Read!!!
Hey Everyone!! If you follow me on Twitter, you already know that I did a rollerset last week and I promised a video on it. This set was done almost 2 weeks ago, on week 4 of my own personal rollerset challenge!
This set was done with HairArt brand "Jumbo Super Rollers" (aka Flexirods). I used 24 rods total in the 1 & 1/4 diameter. I purchased this size at Sally's Beauty Supply, but I have also found them at other beauty supply stores (they also come in a dark green color)

This set was done using the same exact techniques & products I used in the previous video (66-Purple Flexi Rods). Please refer to that video for more details :)

I thought it came out really nice. I can never get a rod set right. I've given up on rod sets. I haven't done one in over a year. lol But I agree the smaller rods look better but they both are nice. You've come a long way in your hair journey!

@mstiaradean lol, girl I used to feel the same way!! but now I have to lay off the heat so they've become a way of LIFE lol...You're doing such big things yourself, I'm really proud of your transition!!! oh yeah you made me wanna buy the Vella Vella LFW, it looked so nice and I was looking for a style just like it..thankfully I can't find it in any of the BSS' around me, I don't need to be dropping that kind of money!!

The overall look was great. The set came out wonderful, but I agree with you. I'm not a fan of the way the curls fell aroud you face. You inspire me to try roller and rod set on my own natural hair. When my protective styling challenge is done I will definately be trying some of your methods. And posting about them on my blog on the Blackgirlwithlong hair forum.
