The late, great, underground guitar hero Ted Greene performing "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" as well as a nice short arrangement of "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing". This is an excerpt from a 2003 seminar focusing on Christmas music hosted by California Vintage Guitar. Enjoy!

P.S. I have a copy of the sheet music Ted's arrangement of "Hark!..." played here. If you're interested, feel free to send me a PM.

*Well so many people have asked for the sheet music I might as well post it here and save you all the trouble of PMing me. Here's Ted's original manuscript:

  • man I would give my left nut to be able to play that!

  • I think you all mistake this vast knowledge of chords for what is in reality an understanding of music that most people will never begin to achieve...i guess yes he does understand chords really really well but I see it as more of a byproduct of his overall musical knowledge and familiarity with the instrument....regardless fantastic player really really incredible....i must bow
