Carbon Copy vs Aqua Puss

Comparing the MXR Carbon Copy and the Way Huge Aqua Puss analog delay. I was searching youtube for videos comparing the MXR Carbon Copy and Way Huge Aqua Puss analog delay pedal, and there were none! (as of 5/31/10) So I decided to make one so that others can compare and get an idea how the two pedals sound in comparison. I hope my video was helpful. The video was recorded using the isight webcam on my Macbook and a Sennheiser e609 microphone closed mic'ed to my Marshall Class 5 tube amp.

I have the CC and love it for solos but the AP seems like the winner with warm chords.

Aqua Puss gets wet. Carbon Copy is dry.

and Aqua Puss is clearer at the time of OverDrive.

Both are awesome. CC is cheaper, but those assholes at MXR think they're so awesome that they can put the power input on the side? GOTTA PLAY BY THE RULES IF YOU WANNA CHANGE EM

Aqua Puss sounds full and warm,CC sounds thin and sterile and if you can hear the difference on you tube it`s much more prevalent in real.

aqua puss wins 100% its all about the overtones ...have you ever connected a Aqua Puss to a Carbon Copy, and then sent it through a Memory Man Deluxe?! That's how black holes are started... Oo
