The Premier Black Edition ballpoint pen is a mix of high technology and Parker's traditional handcrafted techniques: the Premier Black offers extreme durability, tactile pleasure and an ultra-modern look. The black-on-black finish is created with a combination of two precious metals from the platinum family. The barrel and cap are coated in nickel palladium to offer excellent wear and corrosion resistance. The finish will not chip, fade, corrode or tarnish. The matte black trim and front section are crafted in ruthenium, one of the most durable and scratch-resistant metals. The ruthenium parts are top-coated in a black ceramic often found in luxury and high-tech goods like watches, eye wear and cell phones. Handmade by Parker in France, each pen is polished, assembled, fitted, checked and tested at all manufacturing stages ensuring the excellent quality of the high-precision writing instruments.

The Premier Black Edition fantastic fountain pen has a large ruthenium-plated, 18K gold nib that offers a perfect balance of strength, flexibility and flow for flawless writing. The pen uses cartridges or a converter.
