  • I just want to point some mistakes in the translation: "ma tu te ne vogl' andar" means " you wanted to go away" ("ne" isn't a negative, it belongs to the verb "andarsene" , similar to the French "s'en aller". Also, "singing of victory" is wrong, because the words are not "cantu" but "campu per a vittoria" (campare = to live, to scratch along, muddle through). Finally "a canzona "l'oimè" refers to the old exclamation "woe is me!" frequently found in operas, so it means a song of lament.

  • @altischachtle thank you for your comment

  • You do realise that it's in italian right?

  • @kittycat2605rrr yeah... and???

  • @alexandrumic I just think that france should have sung a french song, french is a beautiful language, why not honour it?

  • @kittycat2605rrr Oh! Believe me... you dont wanna listen Opera in french....

  • i love this song. it' s deep and truly beautiful. it' s just too sad that it' s not gonna win. (i think many many people are idiots and don' t like this kind of music) but maybe it' s even better. now everybody will know about him but the fame of winner of eurovision is not gonna spoil him. (i mean look at lena. what she was and what' s she now) but i hope amaury will keep this pure and strong and diffirent personality

  • @kittycat2605rrr Baaab, its not Italian at all, its Corsican. :D

  • @alexandrumic Just to let you know that is is not in Italian... it's Corsican, a Romance language that's close to Italian. France presented it because the island of Corsica is a French Region.

  • @kittycat2605rrr

Actually the song is in Corsican!

  • @alexandrumic ok but then why do opera?
