Yes...sorry I know nothing about yarn..and have thrown the paper on the yarn away..but I do recall looking for Arcrylic Yarn..but that is about all I can say :) I just went to Zellers and got whatever I saw :)

I was also wondering why you opted to use add beads to the braids? Is it b/c your daughter wanted them?

Yes my daughter loves to have the beads in and requested them. I also like the little bit of weight it adds to the end of the braids.

It looks nice. But, I a glad you as a white women are making an effort to learn how to style your childs hair.I have seen so many bi-racial kids or black kids(mostly with white moms) no offense,with jacked up hair. I mean if you are going to have a black or bi-racial child they could at least make an effort,like you to learn how to do the basics. Good job. My kids are bi-racial.
