actually yes it can.
But it sounds bad because the stock speaker and tubes suck. Very flabby bottom end unless you swap speakers and tubes.

i'll never stop recommending this amp. granted it is my first tube amp, but it gets me EVERY tone i need apart from my metal needs, but i wouldnt expect that.

I'd like to know you the setup you used and the kind of pickup in the guitar. I have a fender stratocaster american deluxe and the same amp.

just straight guitar to amp. rolled off the volume on the OD1 channel i believe. gain at around 4. volume around 5. hope i've helped
