October 7 to November 25, 2008 - During the federal eletion Stephen Harper promised to never run budgetary deficits, but has since backed away from his promise in the face of uncertain economic conditions.

this was enjoyable. One of the first things Harper did eliminate the structural surplus, and it seemed inevitable that we would go into deficit. He is certainly not stupid, or he would not be able to fool so many people, but I would not trust his skills in economics... He is just a silver-tongued snake oil salesman.

Make no mistake, Harper has not taken his eye off majority government. He cares not for governing but loves to be in charge. This makes him the worst type of leader in a democratic system. Those that rejoice in power and control care not for the justice of legislative focus. Welcome any opportunity to rid ourselves of this viper, who would be king.

This is quite interesting, because Harper broke every single promise he made over time. At this point, he is looking at 2015 for balance...and even that is disputed by the World Bank as unrealistic..due to risks not being accounted for... Regardless of anything else Harper does, this will likely be the biggest damage that he creates for ordinary Canadians ...the working and middle class...who shoulder the debt...

S.Harper,s political history is short and shameful,he changed political convictions,he show immaturity and inconsistency,contempt Parliament and gave crucial political post of foreign affairs to the "play boy" who treated top secret Government document as a news paper.
