TvC casuals - Pyro vs TR 2/2/1010

Promised to start learning this game a bit with my bud, since I always coerce him into playing BR and Melty Blood; its only fair.

These are some of my first matches with the home NTSC-U version; and in the future whenever/if we record they will be uploaded to Pyro's account..

lol @ this game exaggerating stuff. Its not enough to be simply 3K, but 3K BILLION.

A four hit combo is about 3K+ BILLION Damage lol. If this was any other fighting game. One hit would kill.

Right, that's what I was saying; a good deal of the Marvel characters have great mobility options, from fly/unfly, double jumps, 8-way air dashes, etc which is partly why they are they the viable characters.

Also that's another thing I hate about TvC, the tag button and the assist button being mapped to the same thing; hope there's a config in the options so I can map it somewhere else.

i know exactly how you feel. the only gripe i have is that there is not GUARANTEED way to tag on command. although everything else is awesome.

i think the only reason i dont like marvel is that a tiny number of characters have air abilities.

like some characters only have double/triple jump, some others only have air dash, some only have flight.

I honestly don't like some of the mechanics; for example how overheads can work with light normals but I guess in hindsight its no worse than the other versus games.

Its great though; for once everyone has air dashes and stuff making it even (*cough, Marvel cough) but it feels kinda "stiff"; I dunno, maybe its me and this GC controller.
