I built a cable remote hi-hat stand for my cocktail drum kit. It is simple, lightweight and low cost. Please don't hit me with questions about building one, but feel free to bug your favorite drum hardware company about offering for a simple, sub-$100 cable remote hi-hat stand.

  • Nice and simple, so many of those other remote hats seem too big and over engineered.

  • @leedrunken ya but its still a waist of a 500 doallar pedal

  • @thelegoenginefreak but those small conversion kits that give you the faceplate? theyre cheap and i feel like its worth it

  • @leedrunken that would be a waist of a axis i used the pedal that came with my kit whick is a ludwig pedal because i use a axis laser pedal

  • how did you build it? Can you build me one?
