  • needs more articulation and serious clipping of notes, have you played this in an orchestra before?

  • @aspeyr1 Thanks again for watching! I'll certainly revisit the expression of this excerpt. If you are a trumpet player, I'd encourage you to make a video of this excerpt with your personal interpretation. Keep watching!

  • @ResonanceMG Thanks for the encouragement. I do not have any video recording capabilities at the moment, but I would be able to record a sound clip. Let me know

  • @aspeyr1 I certainly welcome that any time.

  • I would say you have a great tone, and the technique in some of you other videos shows you are a capable player. However, if it were me in an orchestral settings, I would hold the last note of each "solo" phrase full value, and breathe at some point in the full instrumentation.

  • @pow3rtr1p Thanks so much for your feedback. I will certainly do that!

  • Why this has four stars at the moment...I have no idea. Your tone is open and nice, your phrasing is flowing and your marcato is original...

  • sound like c trumpet.....

    very nice sound....

    God bless you...

  • My high school marching band did this for a field show.

  • A note to those with bad comments: If you would realize yourself that there are many different interpretations of this excerpt, like Joey stated in the beginning, and realize deep down that he is much better than you will ever be at trumpet, you would stop giving negative feedback and use the video to learn from rather than flaunt your own interests. Just saying.

  • Cutting notes like that before breathing is not professional.

  • @aspeyr1 That's how symphony players tell you to go fuck yourself.

  • OOOOaahhhhhiiiiiiihhhh ONAhhhheeee ONahhhhhh`e?

  • Your cutting the last notes short...

  • @ResonanceMG Thanks for the encouragement. I do not have any video recording capabilities at the moment, but I would be able to record a sound clip. Let me know
