Pull out those damn dash lights! That's what I did to my old 1.8BT. (built bottom end, GT35R turbo @ 25psi, etc..) It was in a mk2, though. Talk about wheelspin.. With a GLI 6 speed I couldn't get any traction until 4th..

I do not have this car any longer, I parted it back to stock and sold the motor/transmission/turbosetup axles.hubs. ecu ect. to one lucky guy. If you need any help feel free to message me.

nice i have my gti with t3 turbo external wastegate i owned like this i how i know if the ecu is upgrade my red panel in the dash is off and the theft ligth is flashing i youst start like 10 minutes be cause i am doing some paint work to the car

@luigui1985 That is your immobilizer light, send the ecu to uni its $100 and they will delete it.
