Yes if you can find one, People are reluctant to part with them now as they realise just how good they are. i have the red display model that was made just after rci took over from uniden and when i use it on ssb with my turner +3b i ger better audio reports than when i use my kenwood ts-2000 along with a kenwood mc-60a said to be the best mike ever made. and that set up is about ten times more expensive.

these were the best 3900's by far the first one's with the ept3600 board as the later ones with the blue display (including the eft &the one that lit up) had a lot of issues with build qaulity and dry solder joints) absolutely stunning on both tx&rx and dare i say it just as good if not better than the legendary cobra 148 gtl-dx mk2

I bought myself a ss 3900 black, same model as this one but black, works very fine but I would like to have some more tech-info about it(for modifications) .if someone can help with Url.., I would appreciate..
