We've been told over the years that the betterment of China will be good for the United States and for the world. And of course the freest country in the world should be in favor of a free China, but will it work? Would it not have been better to leave China and other nations in the dark ages, scratching the dirt for subsistence? Are there enough resources in the world for all? But there was no choice—freedom is paramount—freedom will always win-out in the end.
@brohan914 LOL China had been dealing with these problems right now and before, what are you talking about. It's 20 to 30 years that those problems will be gone. If you can think of that right now, China knew that 30 years ago and prepared to stop it. China party have the military power and can do anything business men can't do shit.

No doubt, stock markets in China will take the hit (possibly the hard one) in the short time. But if China have large amounts of golds/silvers and it's manufacturing and agriculture industry intact, China will most likely survive in one piece. Because if U.S. Dollars does crash one day, at least China got it's own domestic economy value to minimize the damage. Of course, the other options will be bilateral trade that without U.S. Dollars' hypocrisy and, tight bank reserves and monetary policy.
If the United States EVER gets a President with real guts and he and Congress slaps on an import tax equal to other countries, the so-called American business men will no longer be able to take advantage of lower wages around the World and will be forced to return the U.S. industrial base, thereby creating full employment here and causing China to go belly up.
If some call it protectionism, so be it. I call it full employment for Americans.
Bring America's wealth back home from China AND Japan.
@mard420 It's all about trajectory... China is rising... we're going down.

America does not act like a superpower, but like a corrupt, degenerate entitlement state... so be it.
