I saw this movie when I was eleven years old, the year it was released, in a flea pit of a cinema in Scotland. I remember thinking Robert Redford was the handsomest man I had ever seen and Jane Fonda the prettiest woman on Earth. Fell in love with the America portrayed and made it my ambition to become an American, and live there. Didn't quite pull that off but I visit the States often. Lovely movie and the soundtrack is great. Thanks for posting this, lots of happy memories.
