How to Convert MOV and more to AVI / WMV / Flash and more (Easy, No Install)

NOTICE!!! The site depicted in this video is dead. There is a NEW site with a simpler concept located at http://mediaconverter.org and the following steps will help you use it:

1. Click "Upload a file"
2. Click "Choose file" and browse to the location of your video.
3. Click "Ok". Repeat these steps for five videos per day (MAX 100 MB).
4. When you have your five videos ready, click "Go to the next step".
5. Click the white box and scroll to the file type you want (AVI, WMV, 3gp, etc)
6. OPTIONAL! Check "Set advanced options" to specify things.
7. Click "Ok". There will be a confirmation message, then click "Start".
8. When the file is done converting, you'll be able to download it.

You can download online videos (Youtube included) with this site via links you provide it.

There is also a premium version which allows unlimited access per day and addition supported site to download videos from. I haven't tried it personally however.

Hopefully this will put an end to endless comments saying that the old site doesn't work.

the reason windows "didn't seem to want to support it" is because it's what Quicktime uses and that's their competition

Does converting mov to avi reduce file size and or not quality? or does it keep the same quality and reduce file size OR does it keep the quality but increase the file size? what are the pros and cons please anyone?

@david1991rules4life Normally nothing should be affected. AVI is the standard for video media. I think MOV would be the highest quality between both but it sacrifices compatibility and uses much more room.
