If you ignore the boring "host" - hello, he's no Probst, for real - and the lack of the soundtrack that gets your blood moving even before anything happens, Aussie-S isn't bad at all. I am totally loving it so far!!!
Still love the NOT-TIPARA tribe - they are sucking so far but they've got great team spirit in spite of, and they are focused on the gold... Fingers crossed for the underdogs.....

I've watched most seasons of the other Survivor.
I think as it was the first go at this show, there is much that can be improved from a production standpoint. Have challenges that are designed to be completable in all weather.
The MC/Host I think makes or breaks the show. Reading people keenly, knowing probing and insightful questions to ask, following challenges like a sports announcer, and having profound insightful parting comments at Tribal Council all help. It is a gift.
