Hi, which rocker shoe brand would you recommend? i assume i need a stable rocker. i have rheumatoid arthritis, over pronate, ankles and knee hurts if standing for long time, 1 flat foot and low arch

Hi, thanks for this video! Though, I'm still a little puzzled. I have flat feet which I tried to cure when I was younger with special orthopedic shoes. My foot arch though is still not very pronounced. Which kind of rocking shoes should I buy: stable or unstable?? Thanks for your help!

@bear022013 If the shoe is adjusted properly, it will HELP your knees, not blast them. I have major issues with both kness and Z-Coil's took away all of the pain. Go back to where you bought them and have them adjust the shoes.

I have a heel problem that acts up if I'm on my feet for more then 2 hours with normal shoes.
I have a pair of the sketcher rocker souls that I enjoy because they allow me to be on my feet twice as long as my other shoes even on my treadmill.
Then my aunt gave me a pair of her Z-Coil double rockers and I am thrilled that I can be on my feet ALL DAY without pain. Came back from a workout at the pool and went on a 3 mile walk today. I LOVE these Z-Coil shoes! sherrill graff

If your feet pronate (roll inwards) too much as a result of your low-arched feet, I would recommend a stable rocker-sole shoe.

A heel-to-toe rocker sole shoe like Ryn, will offload pressure on the ball of your foot. I recommend going to a store that carries them, and trying them on for at least 10 minutes. If you have no discomfort in the ball of your foot, you may have a winner.

Rocker sole shoes are good for people who already have foot problems. Like me. Arthritis in my big toe basically crippled me until I got rockers. My dog is very happy about this.

@antinancy Podiatrists and orthopedists have long recommended rocker sole shoes for arthritic toe joints (hallux rigidus/limitus). The rigid 7-lay rocker design of Ryn and MBT shoes make them ideal shoes for people with ankle, mid-foot and toe arthritis.

Hi, thanks for a simple yet detailed presentation; I've been looking for clarity on the subject of rocker sole shoes. I do have a couple of questions about MBT's. 1) do you consider MBT's in the lower-price category? 2) what is your opinion of the quality and lifespan of MBT's since the company was sold? I appreciate your insight. Thanks.

@lankimanc (1) MBT shoes are still in the upper-price level in this category. Most current models range between $235 - $270 (2) Authentic MBT shoes are still well-built, although many wearers report that the current models don't last as long as the original Korean-made MBTs manufactured before 2007. Beware MBT knock-offs. They are cheap counterfeits manufactured illegally in China.
