Mondo Mystery Movie IX / George Romero

The ninth Mondo Mystery Movie screening was the biggest, craziest Mondo show to date. As always, the film title of the screening was kept top secret and the red herring was revealed as the unsuspecting audience showed up at a church only to find 16 charter buses waiting to take them to the real location, a shopping mall. As the buses pulled up, ticket holders knew what they were in for, as zombies slowly started oozing out the front of the mall. The crowning stroke was the special guest appearance from the "Godfather of all Zombies," George Romero, who came out to introduce the evening's film - Dawn of the Dead.
