Comic Review - Robin #176 - Shazap.com

This story arch is so good. We've got action and intrigue and detective work. This is a great story and it is really showcasing everything that makes Robin great. He's strategizing and playing the game. I wasn't sure last issue why they were showing us the part of 52 when Batman goes into the cave except to show us where Batman's craziness may have begun but a new reason appeared this issue. Robin is telling us when he dropped the boy wonder title and became his own man. He developed the new suit, became a bit darker and started to develop intimidation as one of his weapons. In a way, working with Nightwing and no Batman around he started imagine the scenario that is now unfolding in front of him, of a Gotham without Batman. There is a line where Robin really shows who he is becoming when Officer Harper asks if an out of control batman is too dangerous for the police, isn't he too dangerous for Robin and he simply answers "no". Tim Drake is the first Robin that you actually believe has the potential to be better than Batman. The question is, when will he need to be.

dude Dick Grayson was awesome as Batman!!!! he so totally owns the title ... kind of bad that he dosent want it ... but still he is amazing...and has the best DC universe ass ever!!!

I think Tim Drake is the best Robin and Dick Grayson is the better off as Nightwing, he's really cool that way.

Dick Grayson is very talented and better than Jason and Tim, but he is too nice of a guy. If Dick had Tim Drake's personality, he would be able to replace Batman and surpass him in many ways. Dick can fit in for Batman, but everyone will notice the difference. Wait! what about Batman's son Damian? To me Damian posses more raw talent than Dick, but Dick is much smarter. In a hand to hand combat, with no rules, Damian would put on a great fight, but Dick will come out as the winner.

true dick is nightwing but he has been batman once befor dick might have douts about taking over because he dosent know if bruce is dead but if worst came to worst dick would become batman permentaly but i would like to know wat u think so let me know

Dick needs his own identity. His personality wouldn't allow him to follow in Batman's footsteps. If anyone were to become Batman after Bruce it would be Tim. Dick already found his place outside of the batman dynamic
