Chrome was a rock music group founded in San Francisco, California in 1976.

Inspired by mid-70s punk rock and rock groups such as Hawkwind and Black Sabbath, Chrome's music incorporated synthesizers and samples, and frequently emphasized themes of science fiction and paranoia. Though their mainstream success was limited, Chrome are now regarded as one of the earliest industrial rock groups. Hear it now ! http://www.youtube.com/user/HeliosChrome

  • Whoever uploaded this, can you tell us where you got it? This is not off the Visitation album from 1976.

  • WE know EVERYTHING Of the "BAY Area!!! You do know Nothing of the WORLD!!!

Just for fun, I don"t want to annoy you,AllOtis!! YOU KNOW WHICH PEOPLE I MEAN!!! TOM Waits would say....."in the neighbourhood!"

  • . . . anyway , striking tune,brilliant video -- thanks vitrohype ! . . . for posting and searching and kidding us !

  • Holy shit ,sorry, it is from the "Angel Of Clouds" -- Death's Door !! Track from Helios, never heard it attentive . . .

  • Sounds like something unknown from the Damon / Helios era, so not before '78 , but then would have been on the "Angel of Clouds" . . . the voice in the second part doesn't seem to be from one of them -- so I suppose it's not from Chrome !

  • What album is this song off of?...its not off the "The visitation" from 76...so what is this? It sounds more like Damon Edges solo Chrome stuff from the 80's. Well to me anyways. =)

  • @NewWaver80014 Well, it's not just at the beginning but you know what I mean. :)

  • Good stuff!

I notice the beginning says "Featuring Damon Edge and Helios Creed". If this is truly from 1976 then Helios is not on this track (as evidenced by the lack of sludgy guitar riffs on this one), as he did not join Chrome until around 1978.
