This is a tank of the Zoo Aquarium of the "Zoo Duisburg".
It's the footage of the 5th Zoo Trip for fischbottich.de.

This tank was actually constructed for those dolphins in 2005. The zoo got two of them. Their names: "Butu" and "Apure". Apure was the oldest riverdolphin in the world when it died in 2006 with an age of nearly 50 years. Both got caught from wild in 1975.

We have a video of each tank in this Zoo.

For scale: The water level at the front glass is about 1,5 meter (5 feet) high.

Well, how more i see this video, how more i think about the space this animal would have in the wild, it makes me sad...

He has a good life, but not free...

We people can't just give these animals the space they need...

That's also the point why i always deny to keep big growing (fish) species in fish tanks. I love it to see "usual" small growing species in giant tank, and watch their natural behaviors.

i know u guys probably don't believe me but i adopted a amazonian river dolphin but it lives in the wild but it has a tag on it so i can see where it is and if it is in good help so ya my dolphin is named Delilah Emilie Iffland
